Dura-Line’s SIOP Operations team is currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Inventory Analyst to collaborate with the different manufacturing plants in North America & Canada to support our Accessories Department & manage inventory working capital and all inventory projects.

In this NEW & REMOTE role, you will collaborate and influence stakeholders on the excess and obsolete inventory and develop plans to reduce and/or eliminate items on the E&O report. We need an advisor that will partner with regional demand & supply managers to oversee inventory levels and implement strategic initiatives across multiple locations. You will lead monthly review meetings with the finance team and management to review inventory reports, statistical data, discrepancies & resolutions. In this strategic role, you will be required to travel to our Accessories Manufacturing sites in the North American & Canadian regions for up to 10% of your time monthly.
This is your chance to make an impact. Creating inventory control processes, policies, and guidelines, and implementing measurable KPI’s that our sites can adhere to is a key part of your role. You will be responsible for managing the cycle count process, material flow & planning, and E&O inventory to ensure schedule compliance, inventory accuracies, investigating variances, and implementing appropriate action plans to improve inventory transaction accuracy. This is a critical role for the organization. You must be able to use your analytical mindset to calculate and manage safety stock targets, review reports, and proactively improve inventory organization, identification, material flow, process, and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must have a high range of logical decision-making, quick problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and project management skillset. You must have the ability to work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner with a degree of tenacity and persistence. Furthermore, you will need to have technical skills in Lean Manufacturing techniques (Kaizen, Six Sigma), continuous process improvement, materials management, and/or production scheduling with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience (preferred within a material planning or supply chain role) for a manufacturing company. You must be well versed in inventory, distribution, and operations procedures in a production environment which includes overseeing the management of aged finished goods inventory, E&O inventory reduction, scrap, and safety stock.
