Founded in Ghana during 2011, INTED is a non-profit organised response to support quality education delivery in the pre-tertiary education. sector. On a mission to build and support local capacity to provide accessible, high quality professional development that addresses leadership, instructional, and student performance gaps, INTED supported more than 3,500 teachers and heads of over 100 schools in Ghana during the first decade of work. As INTED embarks upon its second decade with purpose to build a more vibrant, inclusive, impactful, and sustainable organisation, it seeks to on board passionate competent individuals who will advance the mission to improve educational outcomes in West Africa. About of the Job

To co-lead the transformation into a member-cantered Learning Organisation with joint responsibility for attainment of organisational sustainability goals



Responsibilities

  1. Close work with the Executive Director and Programmes Director to achieve organisational transformation goals and programmatic priorities.
  2. Design and ownership of INTED’s 5-Year Monitoring and Evaluation Plan using “Capacity Building 2.0” approach to ensure the building of a “learning organisation” that shares approaches and outcomes with partners using clear performance and membership impact indicators that are understood by all.
  3. Lead responsibility for INTED’s ongoing impact and action research, including the broad dissemination of compelling impact profiles and case studies.
  4. Instilling of clear processes and easy-to-use metrics to monitor, assess, inform, and improve members’ professional practices.
  5. Oversight of and close work with external evaluator(s).
  6. Assisting partners and members to effect measurable change within schools, classrooms, and communities.
  7. Accountable for the holistic and continuous engagement of members in the achievement of organisation’s goals and priorities.
  8. Close work with Director of Programmes (and senior staff) to ensure seamless services and cordial relationships with Members and Partners.
  9. Active member of Management Committee with direct supervision of Memberships Manager, joint supervision of other managers, junior staff and sub-reports and reports primarily to the Executive Director and expected to mentor junior team members


Qualification

  • Ten years’ experience with five years in similar role,
  • Master’s Degree in education or another appropriate field.
  • Ability to work with modern data analyses, statistical, presentation, and online collaboration software, strong demonstrable entrepreneurial leadership, organisational and communication skills.
