Cyber Security Manager – Remote, US

Dura-Line is currently seeking a skilled Cyber Security Manager to participate in the co-creation of Dura-Line’s information security programs, strategy, and cybersecurity roadmap and manage it across the company & alignment with Orbia’s information security strategy, business and technology leaders, and mission, direction, policies, and standards.

 

You will partner closely with the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to drive the program which is intelligence-driven, risk-based, and build a lasting partnership with global infrastructure and application security teams to achieve objectives, lead vulnerability, and threat management activities, as well as manage security risk in our matrix organization. You will lead the successful adoption of Global Security Services, ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (including Privacy), plus partner with different IT teams and business stakeholders to coordinate information security incident response and reporting.

 

What required qualifications are needed in this role?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or Business
  • 10+ years of demonstratable experience in similar security roles to provide in-depth technical expertise on Cyber and Information security strategy to drive regular identification and remediation of vulnerabilities and cyber resilience and readiness across the company
  • Understanding of current and emerging threats and countermeasures and the organizational challenges to addressing these threats and staying abreast of relevant information security regulations and drive programs to ensure proactive compliance
  • As you contribute to the development of Dura-Line’s information security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure they are in line with recognized international standards such as NIST and ISO27001, you must have a strong understanding of best practices within Information Security and risk management standards
  • As you evangelize information security and drive security awareness and training, experience in large business transformation, across business areas, countries, and cultures will help you transfer knowledge to others and act as the regional focal point on security operations, incident response, and forensic activities

 

To succeed in this role, you should have expert problem-solving, analytical skills, and in-depth knowledge of best practices to prevent a wide range of security threats. Top candidates will also be excellent communicators, able to advise and educate our staff, IT, and business partners alike, on various information security topics and onboarding of new technology and services. In addition, some knowledge-based requirements needed to perform satisfactorily in this role are:

  • Relevant audit, risk, or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.)
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as (GDPR/data privacy, SOX).
  • Knowledge of international security frameworks and standards, such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS20, and IEC 62443.
