To have a sound understanding and experience of developing marketing strategies, establishing and maintaining marketing policies, programs and campaigns to meet the organizational objectives and goals.
Qualification
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Marketing or business management required.
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
- An added advantage if worked in an oil and gas industry prior.
Responsibilities
- Provision of Comprehensive national and regional data on oilfield and industrial waste management trade as well as updating them to keep abreast with changes.
- Development of Corporate growth model to provide the direction of expansion to cover new operating areas.
- Spearheading the marketing drive of the company.
- Liaising with all stakeholders and key partners in the oilfield and industrial waste management industry to establish and manage corporate universal links.
- Engagement of corporate world and communities in sound environmental conservation practices in order to draw attention.
- Shopping to collect data on environmental activities other than waste management practices globally in general and in Ghana in particular.
- Identify new business opportunities. including new markets, growth areas, trends, clients, products and services.
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
- Generate leads and cold call prospective clients.
- Understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan on how to meet these needs.
- Think strategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
- Work strategically carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
- Ensure staff are on board throughout the company and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
- Develop promotional strategy and activities.
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.
- Keep abreast with trends and changes in the business world.
- Attend berthing meetings.
- Respond to clients and prospective clients’ mails and enquiries swiftly.
