The Brand Communications Lead is the voice of the brand with the primary purpose to create consistency in brand communication across all channels and customer touch points and create a consistent voice that customers know and love.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent oral and written communication skills, be creative, open-minded, and love for learning and research. You will create customer-focused ads that will drive new customer engagement, learning, and communication.
Responsibilities include
- Developing and managing the Brand Communication Strategy
- Manage product information for each product on labels, website, digital marketing, and sales materials
- Effectively communicate the brand story to build loyalty with customers
- Developing a communication strategy that consistently shares the brand and its products to
- educate customer,
- create brand awareness
- engage customer
- increase sales
- Provide consistent product knowledge and information to customers on product use and effectiveness across all channels
- Educating customers on skincare trends, personal hygiene, women’s issues, and modern Afrocentric culture
- Organizing events with the sales team to engage customers, get feedback and improve sales
- Developing product usage kits for customers
- Help the brand refine product groups and new products so they are beneficial to customers
- Develop dynamic social media pages
- Sync online and offline experiences
- Evaluate all design and advertising ventures to ensure they communicate the message intended
- Writing articles and copy for all brand communication activities
- Analytical data gathering and consumer research to understand customer interests and needs to provide compelling content across online and offline platforms
- Represent the company at events to promote the brand and engage new customers
- Look for high-quality media opportunities to promote the brand
- Keeping informed of industry trends
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or just a love for engaging people and selling
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and communication patterns
- Ability to design and implement successful campaigns
- Ability to lead a marketing and creative team
- Advanced planning, organizational, and time management skills
