WHAT YOU’LL DO :

• Define and lead application architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards to mature and transform the technology landscape.
• Develop and maintain an application architecture blueprint for the organization.
• Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.
• Guide modernization of IT assets and adoption of new technologies that supports digital transformation and enable growth.
• Activate the strategy in the company overall on the capabilities provided within the portfolio and translate it into an architecture plan, in partnership with the enterprise architect and other architects.
• Research, define, describe, decide, and promote target architecture for the application portfolio to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, principles and strategies and define and execute relevant architecture processes to do so.
• Drive the definition of application architecture and strategic opportunities of the portfolio based on new and emerging technologies and establish priorities to ensure they are leading and aligned with business goals and economic viability.
• Facilitate and mature Orbia application communities of practices.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate the portfolio lead, regional leaders, and consumers of portfolio capabilities across the company to build target architectures that support and drive business decisions.
• Champion data as a strategic asset and ensure the value realization of the organization’s investments in data and information areas are captured.
• Interface regularly with Business Global architects, analysts, process designers, application portfolio managers, business partners and enterprise subject matter experts to understand and evaluate portfolio capability needs.
• Design, direct and support the governance activities associated with ensuring application architecture assurance and compliance.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience of which at least three years are in a global organization.
• Knowledge of all components and frameworks of application architecture.
• Experience developing integrated, end to end solutions involving people, process, data, and technology.
• Expert with Application integration strategies particularly regarding SAP and manufacturing applications  (cloud to cloud, on-prem to cloud, etc.)
• Requires exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.

 PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE  :

• Certification in related enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks
• Direct, hands-on experience with deploying and migration of  applications to the cloud  […].
• Confidence and experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
• Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, business re-engineering principles and processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
• Deep cloud platform and SaaS enablement skills
• Understanding and working knowledge of a variety of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, including TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP), NIST EA Models, etc.
