WHAT YOU’LL DO :

• Designing and Planning and delivering current and future SAP Technical environment strategy.
• Develop and maintain the Technical Architecture approach, including the development of Technical Architecture Road Maps and Standards, Sizing Standards, Change Control Standards etc.
• Liaison between the project team and other  architecture team members.
• Identification of technical risks and creation of risk mitigation plans.
• Ensures appropriate interfaces/integrations between components are included in design.
• Analyze project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving schedule, technologies, methodologies, tools, and solution components.
• Developing strategies and identifying patterns for integrating different technologies.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE :

• 8 or more years of experience with designing and implementing complex solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field.
• 10 years’ business, IT or related experience.
• Implementation experience, which should include at least three full project lifecycles in one or more of the following areas :
  • SAP Technical Architecture design and SAP Sizing. Lead technical migration strategy phase to ensure all technical aspects are understood and planned for.
  • Cloud and Hybrid Architecture.
  • SAP HANA migration and upgrade.
  • SAP HANA administration, BASIS Administration, Performance testing, and monitoring.
  • Working with SAP Cloud Platform and other SAP SaaS solutions.
  • Understanding of SAP integration toolset.
• Drives non-functional requirements (i.e. security, application controls, performance) across interfaces working with architects, designers, developers, and production support specialist.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices.
• Expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project management both waterfall and agile.
• Experience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices.
• Experienced leader in development and technical integration.
• Experience in Disaster Recovery Strategy based on Target SLAs and KPIs.
• Experience in creating  Release Management Strategy.
• Develop the SAP Landscape Build and Deployment Plan.
• Establishing or modifying strategy, standards and procedures for SAP integration, configuration, and implementation.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE  :

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with test automation ( Preferred).
• Experience in ABAP development (Preferred).
• Expertise with multi-tiered application architectures, including SAP, and legacy systems modernization.
• Experience with systems development, systems integration, and  application design.
• Experience collaboration with end user facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches.
• Perform Architecture reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state.
• Ability to identify risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns
• Researching new technologies to assist in establishing the architectural vision for IT systems.
• Leading the design efforts to meet business objectives while driving the overall architecture to improve system reliability and flexibility.
