The work schedule for this position is full-time (40 hours per week). Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (12 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.  Only open to U.S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) -All Agencies. For USEFM pay schedule is FP and grade is 07.  Actual FP salary determined by Washington D.C.



Responsibilities

The incumbent provides a broad range of assistance to Human Resources Officer (HRO) and serves as back up when HRO is away from post. Tracks and coordinates all the Foreign Service Employee Evaluation and Family Member Evaluation Reports for the Embassy. Manages the Family Member Program including the Overseas Seasonal Hire Programs. Coordinates security clearances for Family Members using eQIP. Maintains Post Profile and provides ad hoc reports to management upon request. Answers HR related questions from employees and managers.



Qualification

  • Three (3) years of administrative/clerical experience is required, to include one year in human resources.
  • 2 years of college
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required. This may be tested.
  • All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
